Agree!
After applying femms noise was dissapeared.
But your patch is still unsuccessful for me.
It producuses only 60% from ac3 volume.
Basses are very silent but high-pitched frequencies are overloaded and distrorted.
But I can recognize words of speech and can hear music.
Almost the same problems were met by Felix when I tried optimize mp3 for SSE.

I'll do a52 optimization in the next year since these days I'm busy in my business
up to jan.
