Agree. I would like to ask and for new common
directory. I think that we must make /etc/mplayer/ and
place all *.conf files in there. This will allow us to
have more configuration files at one place. We may
move and mplayer.conf in there. I would be happy to
have and mencoder.conf:)

P.S. I will investigate in codecs parser hanging (and
that awful terminate)
