Hi,

I'm thinking about some filter plugin support similar to libao2's.
So crop/expand, scaling, colorspace conversion, noise filters, deinterlace,
etc could be plugins and could be used in any order.

And the next step: using these in mplayer too. 
Just imagine cropping or other filters at playback time.

If i remember well - sometime ago someone even asked for such feature.

Maybe the whole filtering stuff should go into dec_video.c, as it handles
codecs and partially video out too.
